In the summer 2013, Odder Municipality provided a complete PV system for the public school Hundslund Skole in collaboration with Viby El-Vaerk. The facility consists of 155 black DanSolar 260 Wp photovoltaic panels, which is expected to produce 39,000 kWh annually. This production would cover approximately 90% of the school's total electricity consumption, which will reduce CO2 emissions in the municipality.
The facility can be used in the classes with data from the intelligent eviShine solution. This makes green energy more practical and the teaching more interesting and more understandable for the pupils.
eviShine is an internet-based software which is used to display realtime production from the school's solar panels and the school´s energy consumption.
